How Indian UPI QR Codes Work
Under the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) unified payment interface standard, static QR codes encode a standardized payment URI. When an Indian customer scans your QR code using their camera or payment app, the phone launches the UPI intent handler:

Does Jankar Studio charge any transaction commission or gateway fee?
Zero. This is a direct peer-to-peer and peer-to-merchant static QR generator. Payments go straight from the customer’s bank account to your linked UPI bank account without passing through our systems.
Can the customer change the amount when paying?
If you leave the amount field empty, the payer manually types the amount they wish to pay on their UPI app. If you specify a preset amount (e.g. ₹500), most UPI apps will auto-populate that exact figure.
Is any banking credential or UPI PIN collected by Jankar Studio?
Never. Jankar Studio only encodes your public Virtual Payment Address (UPI ID) and Payee Name into the QR visual code. We do not ask for, collect, or store bank account numbers, IFSC codes, passwords, or UPI PINs.
